Australia PR Points Criteria

Hi, guys welcome to our blog of Australia PR points criteria ..…..

I was just thinking about what I should write about that would be informative at the same time important for my readers. And Bingo!!! I thought of writing about PR and how you can claim your score points. I mean on what basis though I am not an expert but I can share my experience and show you the direction to get started right.

Everyone dreams of settling in Australia. You must hold the PR for permanent residency. Everyone dreams of getting that PR. But it’s not that easy as you think to get that PR. You must score minimum PR points and meet Australia PR points criteria in order to apply for the PR. One of these requirements for eligibility, for any kind of skilled visa; Subclass 190 visa, Skilled nominated visa, Subclass 189 visa or Skilled Independent, must be met if you are looking for permanent residency in Australia.

The minimum score point is 65 or more in the Australia PR point system. Depending upon your score or whether you are a high scorer, you receive an invitation to apply for PR from the Australian Department of Home affairs. But 65 is not enough in every case. With 65 PR points, you will have to wait at least a year for the invitation. On the other side, if you have obtained 80PR points and 85 PR points then you are likely to receive an invitation within a year otherwise the backlog period has stretched up-to 33 months or more.. Phewww….. That’s too long a productive year until you receive a letter of invitation and you will be having uncertain plans isn’t.

Multiple factors play a role in receiving these PR points. The applicants will receive points from multiple criteria ranging from Age to Work experience and proficiency in the English Language. If you are not able to get a minimum of 65 points then you will not be getting an invitation to apply for the PR. But it is best to score at least 70 points to receive an invitation for an Australia PR visa.
