Online coaching vs In-class coaching
But is this dilemma of choosing the best NAATI coaching weighing on you? At this point, you must be surfing through the internet, weighing out various factors, and trying to figure out the difference between online coaching vs in-class coaching for NAATI.
With the NAATI CCL Test just around the corner, you’re probably thinking to yourself about how you could use this valuable time in your preparation if you found the right one.
Now, you can give your head some break, and stop scratching it, alright?
We’ve used our own past experiences and our students’ feedback to bring you this insightful post.
Take some time to read through this, and at the end of it, you’ll be able to figure things out for yourself.
Let’s get right into it.
Here’s a rundown on online coaching vs in-class coaching:
1. Time
Time is a crucial factor. And for most of us, balancing work and family time is hard enough, let alone joining classes. But if you want to ace the NAATI CCL Test and can set aside some time to learn, then for you, online coaching comes to the rescue, with the saving of commute time and management of your busy schedule. You can pick a convenient time from the available time slots and easily book an online class appointment.
But if you’re one of those who have time on your hand and don’t mind investing some to reach the class, then you should consider choosing in-class coaching.
2. Interaction
When you sign up for online coaching for NAATI test preparation, you’ll get undivided attention throughout the class. You’ll be able to interact with the coach without any hesitation if being in a mass ever holds you back from feeding your curiosity. And if you have confidence in your internet connection, you’ll have a pleasant experience learning online.
Whereas, when you’re among a group of people, you can interact with each other and undoubtedly with the coach. This way, you can share your ideas and help each other out at the same time. However, you won’t be able to interact as much with the coach as you’d in a one-on-one online class.
3. Comfort
If you need a comfortable place and your own space for learning, you can go for an online class. But be sure to maintain a professional environment, and create a separate space away from all the distractions.
Some may find it comforting to be around other people, engaging in interactions rather than sitting in front of a computer, facing a camera. And if you’re one of these people, it’s perfectly fine. You can go for in-class coaching.
4. Global reach
If you’re someone who has to travel a lot or doesn’t want to lose the learning streak when you’re away, then allocate some time to take an online class. Consistency is the key to learning. And this is a great way to maintain consistency. Also, if you’re in a country other than Australia, where you may not find the NAATI CCL coaching classes, an online class is the way to go.
But if you don’t like the idea of taking a class when you’re away or you’re okay with the regular traditional class, then you should stick with it.
5. Flexibility
Most of the online classes are scheduled for various time slots. And you can easily book an appointment. So, if you’re not free at a specific time, you can pick some other time slots. You won’t have to worry about missing out on anything as long as you’re punctual.
The traditional classes are usually scheduled for a specific time, and there’s no rescheduling for your convenience. You’ll just have to be there at a specific time, or you’ll miss the class.
6. Cost
The cost of the online class may seem high at first, but if you think about it, you may realize it’s not much. With the one-on-one time in the online class, you get to have more interaction with the coach, making you more productive. Along with this, the savings from commute costs and flexibility in the schedule will add up to long-term benefits.
In-class coaching is usually more economical than online coaching when you first glance at the rate. But if you add up the commute costs, the work or class you missed to attend one or the other, then you’ll come up with an equal or even bigger bill.
7. Improvement in skills
You must be thinking about what you’ll miss out on if you choose either one of these classes. By joining the online classes, you’ll be operating with a computer. To set up the environment, you may have to look up a thing or two on the internet. Your technical skills could benefit from it.
Whereas, by joining in-class coaching, you’ll engage in conversation with your fellow students and share a few ideas with each other. You could improve your social skills through this.
Now, it’s up to you to decide what works best for you, whether you want to take online coaching or in-class coaching. But if you ask me which one’s the winner in an online vs in-class coaching contest, I’d probably lean towards the online. And after reading the post, the winner in your head is probably online too.
At least I’d like to think we’re on the same page now.
