Important Changes By NAATI Due To COVID-19
The world is suffering right now due to the outbreak and damage caused by the Pandemic COVID-19 virus. And it could be a while until we get the vaccinations against it. At this point, what we can do is follow the advice from WHO and UNICEF. Stop reading the social media rumours and blabbers and help flatten the curve.
Keeping that in mind, we’re taking social distancing as seriously as we can. And with that, here’s an important notice for the NAATI CCL test takers. They have made some changes in their working format. Some of the changes by NAATI in 2020 due to COVID19 are:
Due to current COVID-19 restrictions and to protect the safety of our candidates, partitioners, and staff, all NAATI offices are closed to the public until further notice. We are still operating and you can get in touch with us at info@naati.com.au
The chairman of NAATI, Voula Messimeri AM, further said “All the staff will be working remotely from Monday, 30 March 2020. Employee wellbeing and business continuity will remain the higher priority for NAATI as we go through this challenging global pandemic”
The major changes made by NAATI from 30th March 2020 are :
-
All the face to face meetings have been suspended and the public access to the NAATI office too will be unavailable from 30th March till 30th June.
-
NAATI will be in contact with candidates if they are able to commence face to face testing sooner or need to extend the closure.
-
NAATI will introduce online testing for which the April dates candidates will be contacted individually in the coming weeks to organize a time to conduct the test.
-
All the pre-booked tests that were to be held in April will be completed before June 30.
-
Due to the uncertainty surrounding the current restrictions, NAATI will be scheduling all the future CCL tests until 30 December 2020 as online options.
-
NAATI will release a guaranteed number of places each month to book from myNAATI portal.
-
NAATI staff will contact the candidates a month prior to organize date and time within the month booked to do online tests.
As an existing CCL candidate, you will be able to:
Claim a 75% refund if you do not want to sit for your test.
Withdraw yourself from your current face to face test session via myNAATI. Log in to select a new date if you believe you are unable to take the test in the next three months for any reason.
